[Fwd: Want to marry Rakhi Sawant?] totally WTF
totally WTF? :
Mumbai: Want to marry Rakhi Sawant? This is your chance, because the 29-year-old in-your-face item girl is ready for a "test drive"/ The dancer-actress is the new-age bride-in-waiting, searching for her life partner in a soon-to-be launched reality show titled Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. Rakhi will select her husband-to-be with the active help of ;audiences from among 15 prospective grooms who will be selected through auditions across the length and breadth of the country. NDTV Imagine is playing the matchmaker, while SOL Productions Private Limited will foot the bill. But it won't be a cakewalk, because the contestants' personality, character, physical fitness, talent, and compatibility with Rakhi will be tested through a series of tasks. Rakhi explains why she wants her wedding to be a public affair. "Actors who have been made by the people did not allow the public at their wedding. Obviously, I am referring to Aishwarya Rai," says the bold woman. So, who can apply? Rakhi wants her man to be honest and a daredevil. "If I had my say, I would have chosen Rahul Gandhi," she says. "Still, I am sure there is at least one man who is just made for me. I feel lonely and wonder for whom I am earning so much money. Like every girl, I want a family and kids." Isn't this another publicity stunt? "I am not one of those who would let their wives unbutton their jeans in public. Established stars are becoming barbers or shaving heads to garner publicity. At least I have the honesty to search for a guy publicly," she says, taking a swipe at Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan. Rakhiwho was in a relationship with struggler Abhishek Awasthi, says she has moved on. "It was difficult and I made a mistake," she says. "That's the reason I will be involved in the show at all stages. I haven't told my mother yet, but I am sure I can convince her." What if she finds her dream man in the first round? Won't the show bevirtually over then? "That's not possible. I would love to see the other guys too. You know, test driving! It's my marriage after all. I want everyone's blessings."
